According to a tweet from TV5's NewsAksyon the local government of Valenzuela also canceled Tuesday classes in preschool.
"VALENZUELA suspends classes in pre-school (private & public) tomorrow, 13 Aug. 2013. #WalangPasok," it wrote.
Angeles City in Pampanga has also announced class suspensions in preschool and kidergarten.
"Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan declared suspension of classes tomorrow, August 13, for preschool and kindergarten levels," the Philippine Information Agency said.
Meanwhile, Governor Espino of Pangasinan has also declared suspension of classes from preschool upto high school, according to the government-owned People's Television.
Depending on the Public Storm Warning Signal that will be issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) at around 5 a.m., tomorrow, classes in the affected areas will be automatically suspended using the following guidelines by the Department of Education.
a. When Signal No. 1 is raised by PAGASA, classes at the pre-school level, in the affected area, shall be automatically cancelled or suspended.
b. When Signal No. 2 is raised, classes at the pre-school, elementary and secondary levels, in the affected area, shall be automatically cancelled or suspended,
c. When Signal No. 3 or higher is raised, classes at pre-school, elementary, secondary, and tertiary levels, in the affected area, including graduate school, as well as work in all government offices, shall be automatically cancelled or suspended.
