A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck Mindanao, Philippines on Thursday evening, July 25, 2013, according to the Philippines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The government agency said the tectonic quake hit at 6:51 p.m. and centered at 18km Northeast of Carmen, North Cotabato. The temblor was felt at the following intensities:
Intensity IV - Carmen, North Cotabato
Intensity III - Dangcagan,Bukidnon
Intensity II - Kidapawan City; Cagayan de Oro City; Cotabato City; Davao City
As of posting time, two aftershocks have occurred following the said quake.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to properties due to the earthquakes.
